    Boondocking Beauty

    Let's Go Boondocking!

    Let's Go Boondocking!

Boondocking is primitive camping so there is no water or electricity readily available unless you find a spot (like Cabellas) that offers septic draining and water fill ups so you may be doing without even those basics. Some people will pack a generator for electricity. We did/do not. We carry lanterns and flashlights to use when needed as we usually park late afternoon/early evening so we can eat and be ready for bed when the sun goes down. Double Duty Your RV!

    Double Duty Your RV!

One of the highlights of the last four months is the discovery of making your RV perform double duty! Products that would enable me to go from feeling dirty, grimy, and rough to clean, refreshed, and ready for a nice dinner out with my husband if a nice restaurant was close to where we were staying.

    Oh My Military Shower!

    Oh My Military Shower!

As lovers of the great outdoors we have all experienced it (whether we wanted to or not). The first one we ever had made us think twice about camping. The second one made us think about how we could make it last longer. The third one made us think of ways we could make them easier. You all know what I’m talking about…a camp shower. That magical moment at the end of a long day of hiking, fishing, or exploring when we get to wash off the layer of dust we have collected and make sure we haven't re-homed any unwanted bugs.

    The Second Sunday of May

    The Second Sunday of May

It comes every second Sunday in May. The day we set aside to celebrate the amazing women we call “mom”. Breakfasts in bed, homemade and store bought gifts and cards, flowers, kids cleaning houses, family outings, and special dinners are all known traditions that make the day unique.
